​Executive Director of the Belgrade Center for Human Rights was elected as a board member for the ECRE Southeast Europe

At the ECRE General Assembly held in October 2017,  Ms. Sonja Tošković, Executive Director of the Belgrade Center for Human Rights, was elected as a board member for the ECRE Southeast Europe.

ECRE is a pan-European alliance of 96 organizations that protect and promote the rights of refugees, asylum seekers and displaced persons. The mission of ECRE is to promote the establishment of fair and human asylum policies and practices in accordance with international human rights law.

The Belgrade Center for Human Rights is actively engaged in providing assistance to asylum seekers in Serbia since 2012 as the UNHCR executive partner in Belgrade, as well as in the improvement of the legal framework in Serbia that regulates this area.
